G-Dragon - Heartbreaker cover

NOTE: Some people write G-D’s name in capitals, i.e. G-DRAGON, but I use lowercase, i.e. G-Dragon. I don’t know which is the official version so feel free to change/tell me if it’s wrong ^^; Also, please fix Jin Jung’s name into Hangul (as shown below) because I forgot to un-romanise it D:

Recommended: Heartbreaker, Breathe, Korean Dream, Hello

THOUGHTS: Heartbreaker is a polished hip-hop/dance track reminiscent of BB songs, but it was accused of plagiarising the rap from Flo Rida’s “Right Round”. Butterfly, a mellow mid-tempo song, is also being accused of plagiarising Oasis’ “She’s Electric”. Korean Dream is also BB-like, featuring Taeyang’s smooth vocals with a tad of AutoTune and the lyrics “I’m Captain G-Sparrow”. Breathe is in the same style as Korean Dream with the line “you and me hardcore, till you say no more” OMJIYONG♥. Gossip man has G-D showing his love for Gossip Girl (?) with the line “x-o gossip man” LOL. Hello features Dara and annoying as I think she is she sounds pretty good on AutoTune. The Leaders features Teddy (1TYM leader) and CL (2NE1 leader) and it’s something I should like, but just don’t for some reason – but listen for G-D pimping SNSD with “my name is gee gee gee gee baby baby/G-D G-D baby baby”. About a Boy, She’s Gone and Station 1 Year all feel kind of… sad? But good ^^; All in all, an interesting solo debut for G-Dragon… A must DL! Sorry for such a long review XD.
